From what I can see, it would mean bringing in the following packages: corosync resource-agents libqb pacemaker dlm.

No sure we want these dependencies for our default lvm2 package...
I guess only a very little fraction of users would make use of this.

I was thinking these could be optdeps, but this was over 3 years ago, I personally have no need for this any more.

I am using a modified lvm2 with lvmlockd support for my storage setup (drbd+corosync+dlm+lvmlockd). Would be nice to see official support for such setup.
Arch Linux is currently not made for HA storage. I think implementing this would be a big step.

This would need official dlm and corosync (+kronosnet) packages of course... is this something worth thinking about or is it too much work for too few people?
