Description:
The shell script called by udev in /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/40-usb-modeswitch.rules, /usr/lib/udev/usb_modeswitch, tries to call a systemd service that is not included in the package : usb_modeswitch@.service, usb modems defined in .rules file are not being changed from cd/zerocd mode to modem mode, in previous version (2.5.0) it was included the .service file. Additional info: * Version 2.5.1-1 Steps to reproduce: - in /etc/udev/udev.conf , udev_log='debug' - insert a usb 3g/4g modem - journalctl -f --unit systemd-udevd or $sudo /usr/lib/udev/usb_modeswitch -c "/etc/usb_modeswitch.d/12d1:1f01" Failed to start usb_modeswitch@-c.service: Unit usb_modeswitch@-c.service not found Content of 12d1:1f01 file: DefaultVendor=0x12d1 DefaultProduct=0x1f01 TargetVendor=0x12d1 TargetProduct=0x14db HuaweiNewMode=1 |
