Description:

On freshly installed system, nvidia driver can't be loaded. modprobe nvidia returns error. Please look at attached image (sorry for bad quality, pictured with my phone).

Similar complaint on reddit:

1) DKMS variant working fine.
2) nvidia and kernel from testing repository working fine

( P.S. I am very sorry for confusion caused by my previous bugreport. I was just somehow lost in svntogit and thought that wrong version number in PKGBUILD was the cause. )

The previous bug report was closed because of the statement "Modules are placed in the extramodules-4.14-ARCH instead of extramodules-4.13-ARCH."
see https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1751301#p1751301 instead of opening a new report you really should request the old one be reopened.
I already tried but was rejected because of the above statement so opened  FS#56454  this is a duplicate of that and that is a duplicate of  FS#56449 .
