DetailsDescription: From a short amount of time (2 weeks) I got some connection issues with my Wi-Fi. I've got an XPS 15 9550, BCM43602 using brcmfmac drivers
Kernels tried: Linux 4.9 - General connection issues, including the one on the 4.14 kernel, signal dropping and no stability Linux 4.14 - Connection issue only when connecting the first time at boot "No secret was given" translated from Italian, see screenshot. Additional info: Package version, NetworkManager 1.10.0-1 DMESG from the kernel 4.9 DMESG from the kernel 4.14 Steps to reproduce: Have a brcmfmac supported card, in my case Broadcom Limited BCM43602 802.11ac Wireless LAN SoC rev 1 Use NetworkManager for managing connections In my case my DE was KDE with SDDM After the first boot and login, it is trying to connect but fails giving "no secret was given" error |
