Detailsthe applet cpufreq-applet and it's backend cpufreq-selector both do not start becuase they are linked to a missing libcpufreq.so.0
$ ldd /opt/gnome/libexec/cpufreq-applet | grep not libcpufreq.so.0 => not found rebuilding locally removes this link and fixes the issue. |
