Download the attached file and run:

$ qmlscene a.qml
file:///home/user/a.qml:5 "ComboBox.editable" is not available due to component versioning.

I believe this is an archlinux packaging problem, as me and other users can't reproduce on other distros, other OS, and neither with self-built Qt 5.9.2
The editable property exists in Qt 5.9.2, so this error is very weird

I will guess that you are running Plasma and have qqc2-desktop-style installed on Arch, but not on the other distros you have tested on. If that's the case, please report it upstream to KDE.

That was it! Removing qqc2-desktop-style made the warning go away
