Details
Description:
It's a line related to Serbian language (line 424) in file /etc/locale.gen: sr_RS.UTF-8 ^ where instead of the point it should be a space sr_RS UTF-8 ^ All other lines in this file have two fields except this one. After this change, the Serbian language works normally. Additional info: * package version(s) glibc 2.26-5 * config and/or log files etc. /etc/locale.gen Steps to reproduce: uncoment line 424 in /etc/locale.gen # locale-gen Generating locales... error: Bad entry 'sr_RS.UTF-8' Generation complete. Change line in question, (dot to space) # locale-gen Generating locales... sr_RS.UTF-8... done Generation complete. |

$ awk 'NR==424' etc/locale.gen
#sr_RS UTF-8
The line referenced does not contain a '.' at least in the version extracted from this system's cache of the package.
