FS#5620 - Xorg (tdfx) freezes after Xorg 7.1 upgrade

DetailsMy system, equipped with a Voodoo PCI card, was working correctly before the upgrade to xorg 7.1. After the upgrade xorg starts but it freezes with an "X" mouse cursor in the center of a black screen. It blocks mouse and keyboard, but I can login via ssh to reboot the pc. Then I used vesa driver until I found a workaround in http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=25209, using the option "NoAccel" "true" in xorg.conf. Now I have a working Xorg but with no acceleration.
I dont know is this can be solved or it is a xorg 7.1 "feature". |

Please try the new xf86-video-tdfx-1.3.0-1 package which went in current today.
