I am experiencing what seems to be a similar thing with Nvidia binary driver. While Alt-Tabbing, occasionally windows suddenly lose their decorations and it is impossible to Alt-Tab anymore.

I have the same problem, but on 5.12.5 - I am not sure if this is the same bug.

In my case, I built KWin debug build (added flag -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug) and now it doesn't crash.....maybe the current package is defective somehow? I will try rebuilding without the debug flag and see if it crashes. If it doesn't, then maybe it's a bug with the package, otherwise it might be an upstream bug that is somehow easily reproduced with release build, but not with debug build.
