Description:
When adding a usb device to a QEMU/KVM virtual machine, it causes the usb devices to disappear and not be available until the next boot. I have found that this is an issue with the kernel because downgrading to 4.13.5 makes it function again.

Additional info:
* linux 4.13.7+
* dmesg output attached


Steps to reproduce:
Upgrade linux and run VM then add usb device via QEMU monitor.

I want to add, this dmesg output is from a patched kernel, but this occurs under the regular ARCH kernel as well.
