The commit 02776f0197f22a4c6a8f4ebfe6c8f51ffe6e20a0 is supposed to fix the github issue #968. It is not.

No need for config or log files

Indeed it looks like they have only updated the unhinted ttf's, not the hinted ones that we package. Please notify them in the upstream report.
