DetailsDescription:
The binaries provide a strict subset of 7z's functionality. They are useful when using on a system with extremely small storage. In those cases only one of the two is present - the other + 7z are not available. The 7z developer Igor, has not shipped those in the official package for ~10 years. For compatibility reasons we could use a symlink and update the man pages(?) Additional info: * package version(s) - 16.02-3 |

Additional comments about closing: The same binaries are included in p7zip's prebuilt tarball. Either way, I'm not going to bother with this over a possible 3 MB space savings.
