Description: scrot version 0.8.17-2 has no dependency on imlib


Additional info:
The error message you'll get is "giblib error: no image grabbed"


Steps to reproduce:
Run scrot without installing imlib.

giblib depends on imlib2, is that what you're talking about?

imlib2 is a dependency of giblib but I had giblib installed before I installed imlib and scrot wouldn't run - should these perhaps be in optional deps?

I just don't see it. If it really was a missing dep, it would have been reported a long, long time ago.

Can you give me the output of `pacman -Qi scrot giblib imlib2`?

Of course, attached.

It was "imlib" and not "imlib2" that I had to install though.

That's just it, though, it makes no sense since giblib uses imlib2. I was trying to see if you had something else installed that might be screwing things up. Maybe the maintainer has an idea what's going on here, but I doubt it's a missing dep.

scrot links against imlib2 no need for imlib and works fine
