Details

Description:
GLib 2.54 results in the graphical frontend of Maple 2017.x crashing on launch.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Simply start maple using the xmaple binary in $installdir$/bin/.

Actual Results:
The splash-screen finishes loading and the graphical interface just starts before it immediately crashes.

Expected Results:
The application should start without issues.

Build Date & Hardware:
glib2 2.54.1-1 from the AUR and Maple 2017.3 on Arch Linux (kernel 4.13.5-1)

Additional Builds and Platforms:
Doesn't occur with glib 2.52.3-1 from the AUR or with maple 18.00 (regardless of glib version).

Additional Information:
Attached are the relevant logs, including the backtrace.
Note that I already filed a bug report upstream but they referred me here, see bug #788819 on the Gnome bug tracker (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=788819).

I experienced the same crash as described. However, it's fixed in glib2-2.54.1-2 (today's update).
