DetailsDescription:
GLib 2.54 results in the graphical frontend of Maple 2017.x crashing on launch. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Simply start maple using the xmaple binary in $installdir$/bin/. Actual Results: The splash-screen finishes loading and the graphical interface just starts before it immediately crashes. Expected Results: The application should start without issues. Build Date & Hardware: glib2 2.54.1-1 from the AUR and Maple 2017.3 on Arch Linux (kernel 4.13.5-1) Additional Builds and Platforms: Doesn't occur with glib 2.52.3-1 from the AUR or with maple 18.00 (regardless of glib version). Additional Information: Attached are the relevant logs, including the backtrace. Note that I already filed a bug report upstream but they referred me here, see bug #788819 on the Gnome bug tracker (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=788819). |
