Description:

Computer Lenovo X220 freezes playing youtube video in chromium, after some time, running a sound loop of some seconds, needs hard reset - power button

Steps to reproduce:

open chromium, play a youtube video, it happens at least once, sorry I'm not a developer don't know what to do how to debug

 FS#55629  if intel_iommu=off does not resolve the issue it needs to be reported upstream

Try 4.13.5, currently in testing

Thank you very much.

I won't try the testing version, as I'm using zfs-root, and only update when these modules get updated.
(don't want to have the trouble of building that all on my own now)

For now intel_iommu=off seem to resolve the issue.

Closure works with request only?

So maybe I use it some more days, the next days this computer might not run so many hours.

Which tells me it will work in 4.13.5 without having to specify that
