Sun's Java Development Kit package missing file src.zip in path /opt/java.

This file is required for some IDEs like eclipse.

That's true. Do not remove src.zip. Every body who is concerned about the wasted disk space is free to remove it manually or add NoExtract=opt/java/src.zip to the pacman.conf. This is done faster and easier, than building the whole package everytime an update is available.
