Sorry the severity should be "high". This is obviously a main function of the application.

Are you in Plasma? If so, is the timezone set correctly there as well?
Comment by Stefan (poidl) - Tuesday, 03 October 2017, 22:05 GMT
Yes I'm in Plasma.

In the"Time zone" tab of the "Date & Time - System Settings Module", the time zone is set to
"Area: Sydney, Region: Australia/Australia, Comment: New South Wales (most regions)"
In the "Date and Time" tab, the option "Set date and time automatically" is ticked, and the correct local time is shown.

The plasma digital clock in the panel shows the correct time too.

In the Kalarm settings, "Time and Date" is set to "Australia/Sydney".

Please report this upstream, it is not a packaging issue
