Details

Description:

Starting of qemu virtual machine with OVMF bios and VGA passthrough with linux kernel takes twice time longer in comparison to linux-lts kernel.
I believe linux-lts kernel has some configuration changes that allowing such fast VM start.
Could you please apply the same configuration for this kernel also.
I have opened the similar issue for openSuse but looks like they don't want to fix this.

Also recently notices that Fedora has great kernels that allows me to start VMs very fast but my overall experience with Fedora was not so pleasant and I use Antergos on daily basis for my PCs.

What configuration?

It's far more likely a change upstream than a config change.
