Description:
Starting of qemu virtual machine with OVMF bios and VGA passthrough with linux kernel takes twice time longer in comparison to linux-lts kernel. I believe linux-lts kernel has some configuration changes that allowing such fast VM start. Could you please apply the same configuration for this kernel also. I have opened the similar issue for openSuse but looks like they don't want to fix this. https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1052344 Also recently notices that Fedora has great kernels that allows me to start VMs very fast but my overall experience with Fedora was not so pleasant and I use Antergos on daily basis for my PCs. |
