Details When mysql 5.0.24a-1 was built, it detected asm/atomic.h (its included by /usr/include/mysql/mysql_globals.h). This header is not include in kernel26 2.5.18-7 (see http://lkml.org/lkml/2006/7/10/417). Mysql probably just needs a rebuild.
