Description:
Setting rd.systemd.volatile=true in the kernel command line options is ignored in Arch when using mkinitcpio.

The attached file adds this feature. Drop it into /usr/lib/initcpio/install and sd-volatile to the HOOKS line in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf.

There is a report ( FS#67439 ) that this hook is not yet working correctly.

I took the liberty to create a patch out of this (I am lacking an email provider that works with git-send-email).

Edit: Sorry for the incorrect first patch file, I accidentally picked the wrong file and can't delete it now.

I have tweaked the sd-volatile file further an can confirm that the attached patch works on both my regular x86 Arch installs and on my Raspberry Pi.
