Additional comments about closing: Fixed in 2:2.4.0-1 with the URL pointing to https://darktable.org now that this does even work.

Note that www.darktable.org supports HTTPS (although they don't auto-upgrade you, and https://darktable.org redirects to http://www.darktable.org but every bit counts).
