Description:

Login to GNOME under Wayland works for three of my four users, but the main user account I rely on is immediately kicked out after logon.

Additional info:
* package version(s) 3.24.1-1
* config and/or log files etc.

A journal excerpt is here:

Steps to reproduce:

I have no idea. I already disabled all shell extensions, recursively reset org.gnome.settings-daemon. But something about this user account is still different from the others, so that login just continues to fail.

OK, so the solution was to empty ~/.config/gnome-session/saved-sessions as described in https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GNOME/Troubleshooting#gnome-shell_.2F_gnome-session_crashes_on_session_startup
