Description:
Login to GNOME under Wayland works for three of my four users, but the main user account I rely on is immediately kicked out after logon. Additional info: * package version(s) 3.24.1-1 * config and/or log files etc. A journal excerpt is here: https://gist.github.com/vasyugan/de4daee409f43fea68cc6ef4fc733efa Steps to reproduce: I have no idea. I already disabled all shell extensions, recursively reset org.gnome.settings-daemon. But something about this user account is still different from the others, so that login just continues to fail. |

OK, so the solution was to empty
~/.config/gnome-session/saved-sessions as described in
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GNOME/Troubleshooting#gnome-shell_.2F_gnome-session_crashes_on_session_startup
