Running archstats (4.1-2) under kernel26 (2.6.18-7) generates an error:


# archstats -u

error: kernel config file contains invalid character
offending string: 'CONFIG_DEFCONFIG_LIST="/lib/modules/$UNAME_RELEASE/.config"

Hmm, that's odd. I'm using the stock kernel (kernel26-2.6.18-7) with no modifications. I'll attach my kernel .config file. Further, I do not have the .config file referenced by the error message in the path /lib/modules/2.6.18-ARCH. Perhaps that is creating the problem.

$ cd /lib/modules/2.6.18-ARCH
$ ls -a
kernel modules.ieee1394map modules.pcimap
modules.alias modules.inputmap modules.seriomap
build modules.ccwmap modules.isapnpmap modules.symbols
dazuko modules.dep modules.ofmap modules.usbmap

I have the same error message with archstats.
My system is up to date with kernel26. No home made configs, etc.
