Description:
This package do not provide libraries and helper files needed for building correctly udisks2. see this patch https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/iscsi-initiator-utils/blob/master/f/0009-libiscsi.patch coming from Fedora.

That is one hell of a patch. It it upstreamed? Do other projects seriously require fedora's specific version of open-iscsi?

That's not the problem, udisks2 use open-iscsi as upstream source to develop their program and call for libiscsi.h when you enable the iscsi module to build it(See here https://github.com/storaged-project/udisks/issues/388). I shared the patch from fedora but it's just an example, nothing more.

That *is* the problem. As far as I can tell, there's no such thing as libiscsi.so0 upstream, it's something that fedora specifically creates.

I new to deal with udisks2 dev about this and see their answer.
