The sweethome3d package ships its own java3d libraries.
I've not installed the java3d package and the applications works properly with the bundled java3d library.
I have installed following:
java-environment-common 2-2
java-runtime-common 2-2
jdk 8u144-1
are you using the NVIDIA video driver?
nvidia 384.59-5
nvidia-utils 384.59-1
SWEETHOME3D_JAVA3D=1.5 sweethome3d
as it's explained in the installation phase of the package
I've checked pacman log and the instructions are there and they work for fixing the problem.
Thanks for assistance.
