makemap does not do any action

Additional info:

6.0.2p1-5
* config and/or log files etc.


Steps to reproduce:
run makemap /etc/smtpd/secrets It supposed to generate /etc/smtpd/secrets.db but it doesn't do anything.

To bring this issue up again: I can replicate this with the current "opensmtpd 6.7.1p1-6".
Neither makemap nor newaliases do anything. Dumps from strace attached.
