Description:

I have a Thinkpad L430 Laptop, and I don't receive lid close events with kernel newer than 4.12.4-1. (4.12.4-1 is the last working version).
Therefore my laptop doesn't suspend. (and the battery drains and the laptop gets hot when I put it into my bag for transport...)

Additional info:
* package version(s): linux-4.12.6-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz abd linux-4.12.8-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz

Steps to reproduce:

Get the newest kernel, close lid -> suspend not triggered, no lid close events in `sudo journalctl -b -u systemd-logind`

Please bisect the kernel to find the bad commit and report the issue upstream.
You might want to try 4.13-rc5 first to see if it has already been resolved.

I cannot reproduce the issue. Is it still valid?
