Summary
=======

The package jasper is vulnerable to multiple issues again including arbitrary code execution and denial of service via CVE-2017-6852, CVE-2017-6850, CVE-2017-5505, CVE-2017-5504 and CVE-2017-5503.

Guidance
========

Japer 1.900.1-debian1-2.4+deb8u3 used in debian look like is not affected by all but instead by some vulnerabilities.

affected in debian: CVE-2017-6852, CVE-2017-6850, CVE-2017-5505, CVE-2017-5504
fixed in debian: CVE-2017-5503

that last look like there is a fix forwarported on the github from the project.
