When being in an IPv6 only network that uses NAT64/DNS64 to emulate the IPv4 internet, vpnc will fail, because it only resolves A entries, even though the hosts are reachable via IPv6. The homepage for this package references a mailing list "vpnc-devel -- vpnc list to send bug reports and discussions with developers". But the lack of an upstream bugtracker really isn't a reason to file bug reports here... there's nothing we can do about it.
