Details

Description:
bbswitch requires linux to be installed. How ever, I am using linux-harderened with linux-hardened-headers. It works just fine but I cannot remove "linux" due to bbswitch needing it as dependency.

Same goes for any other linux kernel (lts,zen,...)


Steps to reproduce:
sudo pacman -Rs linux

Additional comments about closing:  bbswitch really does depend on linux. For other kernels, there's bbswitch-dkms.

The bbswitch package contains a single file -- a module built specifically for the linux package. There's no way this would work for the linux-hardened package.

So how can it bee that Bumblebee+bbswitch (optirun,primusrun,...) work just fine for me on linux-hardened ?!

Perhaps you have bbswitch-dkms installed.

Nope because bbswitch is in conflict with bbswitch-dkms. But I guess I should go for bbswitch-dkms then?
