DetailsGitLab tries to deduce its own git revision. Upstream exepects that the complete git history is deployed which is not the case for this package - and saves a lot of disk space!
In 9.4 this problem has got bigger as /help will return server error 500 if the revision cannot be determined. I'm attaching a PKGBUILD and its diff to extract the git revision from the downloaded tar ball and place it statically into config/initializers/2_app.rb. Please consider adding this to the binary packet. |
