Details

Description:

The package has only makedepends set to python-setuptools which is not enough for runtime. Without installed python-setuptools the /usr/bin/xattr command wil fail with:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/xattr", line 6, in <module>
from pkg_resources import load_entry_point
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pkg_resources'

Steps to reproduce:

1. $> pacman -S python-xattr
2. $> /usr/bin/xattr
