Description:

inside msfconsole :

msf> ls\r
....
....
msf> search " " \r
.....
....

every command is added extra "\r" char at the end,

command works fine but , when i access history by UP arrow key , all the commands gets lined up in row , mkaing it difficult to see !

works fine on other distros, debian it was the same setup and terminal, working fine, but not on arch linux, im having difficult time to figure it out!!

Additional info:
* package version(s) : 4.15.0-1
* config and/or log files etc.

I'd just like to point out as a Bug Wrangler, it makes our job easier if you mark which package this report involves. If you use the Add New Bug link on the package details page, it should automatically fill in the name of the package for you...

As it is, before I could even consider triaging this, I first had to investigate which package in the repos contained an "msf" or "msfconsole" executable, then rename the summary to contain the package name just so we could know what the bug report was about!

(This also automatically makes me slower to triage anything I cannot personally verify.)

I can't reproduce it, OP hasn't responded to anthraxx's request for more information in nearly two years. I'm going to assume this was fixed.
