DetailsWith dbus-launch --exit-with-session in my .xinitrc, I've noticed that every time I launch X an extra dbus session is created - when I kill X, dbus should be killed, but it isn't. From the dbus-launch manpage:
--exit-with-session If this option is provided, a persistent "babysitter" process will be created that watches stdin for HUP and tries to connect to the X server. If this process gets a HUP on stdin or loses its X connection, it kills the message bus daemon. It looks like the babysitter process isn't being spawned. |
