DetailsConsidering how old 3.0 is, would you mind taking a look at ftp://ftp.info-zip.org/pub/infozip/beta/zip31d.zip ? It was released in 2015 as opposed to 3.0 from 2008.

I was thinking that as development seems more or less dormant, it may be worth testing a more recent build. But it is completely up to you especially since I have not tested the 3.1beta build extensively.
It would help every distro out there switch to the most recent code.
