DetailsAll new HP Compaq nx series laptops have "bad state" bug (very long boot, speedstep problems ect.). This problem does not occur if "psmouse" is compiled as a module and if this module is unloaded just before the computer is rebooted. Currently that code is compiled into the default kernel, so I'm asking is there any chance to change default kernel config to compile psmouse as module, then I and other HP Compaq nx laptop users can avoid "bad state" bug?
