Detailsdescription:
Previously pandoc was statically compiled and didn't require haskell dependencies, now it does and it's annoying because I don't use haskell and I don't want to bloat up my system. I'm not alone: Other users find it annoying, ( #54564 ). It'd be nice to get some dialog going about why this decision was made at the very least, as it seems like threads on this topic on the forum are deleted and bug reports are closed without communication. |
