Description:
network-manager-applet (1.8.2-1) bug, when open vpn connected, icon show disconnected network!

Additional info:
* package version(s): network-manager-applet (1.8.2-1)
* config: Xfce 4.12 , 4.11.4-1-ARCH #1


Steps to reproduce:
install network-manager-applet (1.8.2-1), networkmanager-openvpn 1.2.10-1, make some openvpn connect, and you will see what icon changed to disconnected network!

Having the exact same issue. Fully up-to-date and only occurs when using openvpn.

yes, that bug not affected pptp as example!
solution: back to network-manager-applet (1.8.0-1) from cashe, as example and hold IgnorePkg = network-manager-applet in /etc/pacman.conf

I believe that this issue was fixed upstream though I have no bug reports on hand to confirm this. Since the latest version of networkmanager-openvpn, I have the wireless symbol with the lock while connected to a VPN now. If others can confirm this issue no longer exists on their systems, this bug can be closed.
