Description:
The Cinnamon desktop has a battery indicator that should tell that you have the power connected, unfortunately this is not the case.

Additional info:
* Cinnamon 3.2.8-1 x86_64 from Arch Community repository
* I have tlp installed and reports that it is on battery or AC depending if charger is plugged in
* upower monitor posted (charger plugged in and notices a change when charger is unplugged.):

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install Cinnamon with all of the extras that includes
2. Plug in laptop
3. See that the battery indicator does not reflect this

It works for me without problem, I can see immediately when I connect the power. Please follow the upstream report:
