DetailsDescription:
Recent update is missing a patch that included the `-u` switch (which causes scrot to take a snapshot of the window with the active input focus). It looks like it really should be addressed upstream, but I have no idea where "upstream" is and I can't figure out who maintains it. It looks like debian just maintains their own source, so there's no universal upstream as far as I can tell. See: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=245266 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?att=1;bug=245266;filename=scrot-0.8-focused.patch;msg=5 Additional info: * scrot 0.8.17-2 Steps to reproduce: Install latest scrot package from community repo (0.8.17-2) `$ scrot -u filename.jpg` fails with "scrot: invalid option -- 'u'" |
