Details

Description:
gdm-3.24.2-1 defaults to xorg session. After a downgrade to gdm-3.24.1-1 it uses wayland correctly.

Steps to reproduce:
- Update to gdm-3.24.2-1
- Verify that XDG_SESSION_TYPE=xorg
- Downgrade to gdm-3.24.1-1
- Verify that XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland

Maybe add some details, like logfiles?

I have similar issue, but i don't think it related to gdm, in my case it's nvidia driver fails on wayland so gdm defaults to xorg.
