Details

The pacman hook for the initramfs should also trigger on changes to "usr/lib/modules/${KERNVER}/*" and "usr/lib/modules/${KERNVER}/*". This prevents issues from kernel modules that come from different packages.

This is quite an old feature request. Is it still valid today?

It belongs to mkinitcpio instead of the linux packages, but it seems valid.

It's not a trivial fix as the script needs to be modified as well. It currently expects that usr/lib/modules/*/vmlinuz is the only target within usr/lib/modules.
