Details

Description: Simple bug to reproduce. I upgraded my archlinux with testing installation, and I need to run handbrake. It didn't work from Applications Menu in mate, so I tried to launch it in a terminal. Got this self explaining error:

ghb: error while loading shared libraries: libx264.so.148: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

libx264.so.148 is the current version...?

For testing. I forget to add this information. So at least, a rebuild in community-testing is needed, I think.

That doesn't change anything. Do you really not have that lib in /usr/lib/?

Ah, I see the problem, libx264 isn't pulling in the x264 package.

Looks like last x264 update is fixing the bug. Closing it as invalid?

I think I try to run handbrake at the wrong time :(
