DetailsDescription:
resume laptop from suspend, it said in journallog: kernel: thermal thermal_zone0: critical temperature reached(193 C),shutting down then the laptop shutdown by itself. linux-lts-4.9.25 has the same behavior. when I downgrade to 4.10.10, this behavior go away. Additional info: * bad version: 4.10.13 * good version: 4.10.10 Steps to reproduce: upgrade to version 4.10.13, restart laptop, suspend laptop, resume laptop, then the laptop shutdown by itself. |
This task depends upon
I hope linux upgrade to 4.10.14 .
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=225902 covers patches that I believe would allow 4.11 to move to testing but it would probably stay in testing until 4.11.1 is released.
You could also test 4.11 locally. If both 4.10.14 and 4.11 are still affected by the issue I suggest bisecting to find the bad commit.
From linux-lts-4.9.25 and linux-4.10.13,
if the xfce4-power-manager can tell me the battery status,
this issue will go away,
and the computor will not suspend when I close LID;

Maybe my computor is strange.
