Description:
This patch turns off those horrible jarring beeps that just about give you a heart attack when you hit the left, up, or backspace key in an empty text field in a GTK program.

* Changed gtk2/trunk/gtkrc and gtk3/trunk/settings.ini

Wait, this is just about changing the defaults away from upstream? Change them locally and move on.
