gnome-online-accounts is compiled with owncloud support, so this doesn't look like a bug in gnome-online-accounts.
Do you have gvfs-goa installed?

yes, only stopped working when upgraded to current gnome. going off suggestion in post i made here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=225497
reply suggests adding flag to pkgbuild

The flag isn't needed. Configure reported:
ownCloud provider: yes

thanks for looking into it, i followed advice in thread and mounted as 'other location' and it works. my journalctl shows this:

Apr 26 14:08:21 Arch gvfs-goa-volume[919]: g_mount_operation_reply: assertion 'G_IS_MOUNT_OPERATION (op)' failed
Apr 26 14:08:21 Arch gvfs-goa-volume[919]: g_mount_operation_set_password: assertion 'G_IS_MOUNT_OPERATION (op)' failed

i have removed and added account in online accounts under settings and it accepts account

Absolutely same problem:

Mai 07 07:35:26 peje gvfs-goa-volume[758]: g_mount_operation_set_password: assertion 'G_IS_MOUNT_OPERATION (op)' failed
Mai 07 07:35:26 peje gvfs-goa-volume[758]: g_mount_operation_reply: assertion 'G_IS_MOUNT_OPERATION (op)' failed

Is there any progress?

I have the same issue, webdav support for owncloud no longer works.

vote for having both owncloud and nextcloud. I won't be using nextcloud until at least next re-install of my cloud server.
