DetailsI have not been able to find any upstream mention of boinc requiring webkitgtk2.
The Fedora PKGBUILD also doesn't require webkitgtk2.[1] Because boinc is one of the packages blocking phasing out webkitgtk2 [2], please verify whether or not boinc really requires this dependency. The client GUI uses wxWebView, so we can't remove the dependency on WebKitGTK+.
