DetailsAfter upgrading from GNOME 3.22.x to 3.24.1 I found this error in Terminal when launching gnome-boxes:
(gnome-boxes:6228): Boxes-WARNING **: util-app.vala:309: Failed to read file /proc/modules: Error opening file /proc/modules: Permission denied Then after attempting to enter a VM and it doing absolutely nothing other than going to a black screen with the size of the screen written in the "[number]x[number]" style in the middle, I closed it. Then when I tried to open it the next time I was met with this output in Terminal and then it exited, it didn't actually load the GUI of gnome-boxes at all: Failed to register: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message recipient disconnected from message bus without replying Now I just get the first warning. Seemingly there is no output in journalctl related to this. |
