It isn't compiled with policykit support, still have to work that out (blegh, another daemon, another framework that hooks into dbus and pam)
Jan, can you be more explicit when you say "And what happens when you apply the patch in this bug to the .fdi file". Which patch and which .fdi file should we test?
Also, this bug has been recnetly fixed in Debian. (last two or three weeks). They are still with hal 0.5.7.1, but now with udev 100.
