DetailsIn the next kernel version (4.11) support for HDMI audio for baytrail/cherrytrail devices will be available without having to patch it in. The module is disabled by default* and I was wondering if we could get it enabled in the default config for when it comes out? I was maintaining a package in the AUR at one point for it (linux-ct), and from what I can tell on the forums there are a few users out there at least who would benefit from having this enabled by default. * https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/9633111/ |
